Apple growers and artisan cider makers based in Husthwaite, North Yorkshire. Husthwaite has been known as the ‘Orchard Village’ since the early 17th Century. The fruit, mainly apples, was shipped all over the north east of England. By the late 1960s nearly all of the existing orchards had gone and there was very little evidence of the village’s heritage.

Orchards of Husthwaite was formed in 2009 to replant the vanishing orchards and use the fruit to make and sell a variety ofr poducts including Galtres ciders and juices. Some of our surplus funds each year are used to fund local community projects.
